you ever think outside of the box? not asking you to belive in religion, or to idolise... keep your mind open to divine intervention. there is a higher power.

I keep my mind open to everything. This is how I know most of the **** out there is utter BS. This includes what the gov says as well as you whack jobs. Anyone with some level of intelligence knows the truth lies in the middle of everything. Go fondle your moms nuts.

BTW the only higher power that exists is the higher power of self.

No one at this point can be 100% sure, but I figure if all the christ, allah, buddah, lord, beelzebub, and Xenu nuthuggers can proclaim their religion as fact then by default I am entitled to this right as well.

I didn't mean to say I had a clue, I was actually just wanting to know what made you believe that. I'm still totally confused as to the spiritual side of things...
The only thing I see is that some part of our higher self (I think you're referring to the subconscious, that's what I'm referring to) is connected with something that is all knowing. I believe that much to be true, but as far as knowing how to take advantage of it, I haven't figured that part out yet...

Actually when I use the term self, I mean it quite literally. Everyone has their own power to make life what they can. No one or no being has that control. I do not look to others or anything else to make my decisions for me. I may accept advice and collect intel to help me make the right choice for myself, but I never base it off a belief in anything but me.

Yeah I went through that phase too. There's just alot of weird unexplainable stuff going on though, and it seems hard to totally discount the mystical. Ever heard of synchronicity?

It's not to discount at all. Unexplainable things are nothing more than unsolved problems.
This isn't a phase. At 34 yrs of age I consider my Catholic raising and the drunken youngin' eras as phases. This is me. I know I have the power to be complacent. I have the power to take control. I have the power to do whatever I feel is right. I only need to believe in myself and do whatever is right by me. It makes my life much simpler.
