Atomic APxx 15" for daily?

i have an AB 500.1 to each of my 18's right now, and have 2 more amps on the way. so yes mass power for daily can be good. When i had 2 18"APXX woofers, i thought they were only good for daily/bass race. For SPL, they never did as good a number as most other big dog woofers.

Put 4000 on it and beat on it, thats what they are made for

I herd atomic on music(apx) and is sounded very good but imo they have small hz margin, so youll have to find song that would really hit. am i correct?

Most likely a characteristic of the box you heard it in. Most of these subs are placed in fart boxes for burping, and their usable bandwidth is generally very narrow.

Why not just buy a sub you know will perform well daily?

But wanna chime in...! I've had a few different APX 15's and they sound just fine with music! Had em ported (4 cubes at 28 hz) and sealed (3 cubes) running on anywhere from 1000 wts to 1600 wts! If you have a GOOD HU, good amp and possibly a nice crossover, you WON'T be disappointed! They're WELL built subs and have to be in a well designed setup to make em' sound good with music/daily IMO.

Now with 4000 wts....don't know how much SQ you're after but not much SQ after 145 dbs!!!!
