At The Carwash

me too..
i power wash my car, then there is a soap dispenser at low pressure on my power washer i do that. then i hand wash each section, power wash it again then rinse, then i blow water out of the hard to get sections like moldings and body seams with compressed air, then i towel dry it, then wax.

takes me about 6 hours to fully detail my car from inside out...
I wouldn't suggest power washing your car, by the way. It may seem hard to believe, but the high pressure water scrapes dirt and debris across the surface of the paint and causes swirling. It's definitely not as bad as what those girls are doing, but a single wash by hand is by far the safest method. It only takes a single wash to get it perfectly clean.

does anyone have the link or remember that forum that is all about detailing your car? i need to get a buffer.
There's tons of them.

Autopia.com

Autogeekonline.net

Detailcity.org

forums.roadfly.org

detailingbliss.com

and many more. PM me if you have any questions on detailing; I own a detailing business.

A good, relatively cheap buffer is the Ultimate Detailing Machine. It's a random orbital buffer and is foolproof to use. Should run you around $190 shipped.

I actually saw a girl wearing this same shirt in the mall WITH HER MOM. Girl couldn't have been more than 13-14. I was mostly checking out the mom... mostley.
