i have att and no problems i have there fastest speed and i got it in a bundle deal with direct tv so i only pay 30 a month and i have not paid the bill in three month still no cut off so i like att

been a tech for comcast for 3 years.

if dude can pull your history for the modem then thats the best bet to find the problem. They reset our password last week and we still haven't had new ones issued.

comcast has 'speed boost'

which does nothing but fool online tests into displaying higher transfer rates.

Each area has a central hub. The hub has xxx amount of bandwidth to spread over all its customers. If you have a lot of people with comcast in your area, your internet will be slow. and the reverse.

what speed boost does is it dedicates a large amount of bandwidth to you as soon as a download starts. But you don't always have that amount.

I went from comcast to uverse. I like the uverse tv, but comcast internet is much better imo. As soon I pay off comcast I'm gettin it back.

I had Comcast for 10 years and switched to AT&T Uverse last year.

AT&T is superior in every way.

I bundled the TV, Internet, Home phone and cell phone and saved $85.00 per month!

TV has better picture and many, many more HD channels, $5.00 for extra box in second room that can access DVR'ed programs, Internet is faster (I got the fastest service they offer), cell phone is cheaper as well as home phone.

We got over $400 cash back for bundling, 6 months at half price...
