AT&T Deposit..

Has anyone recently switched to AT&T for a iphone and had to pay a deposit... i heard with little or no credit deposit was pretty high.. around 300-500-750... Anyone had to pay a deposit.. what did you pay?

i switched in like december from verizon, didnt have to pay anything, and they waived my activation fe

My cousin has pretty bad credit and she tried to get one and they told her she needed a $500 deposit! she said **** that and went to metro pcs

if you have bad credit you do have to put a large deposit down, just the same with utilities at your home

metro PCS will take anyone.

How old are you? i'm pretty sure you have decent credit then..

I have att and i didnt pay much at all, but i say instead of going to a AT&T store hit up one of the booths in the mall they normally dont make you pay an activation fee and give you good deals, I worked in booth AT&T store and the booths and the booths can get away with a lot to just make a sale

Not always true. thats were my cousin went to get hers and they told her $500 deposit!

well in most cases they give great deals and if they dont i still would try and talk them down

LOL ironically, AT&T told me about 7 or 8 years ago that I would have had to drop 400 for one of their phones and I went with Cingular.

There is some bad stuff on your credit.. GO DISPUTE IT!!!!

i switched to att&t a year ago and got the tilt...was 299 with a 2 year contract...by the time i got done with discounts and interwebz coupons i payed $54

For whatever reason Sprint and AT&T have higher fees if you have bad credit. Mine is right at 600, which is considered poor and I went with Tmobile and didn't have to pay any fee besides activation fees which we 20 a phone, so 40 bucks.

Sprint wanted 200 dollars down and AT&T wanted 100.......which apparently isn't as bad as some people, lol! I couldn't imagine paying 500 dollar deposit for a phone. I will just get a track phone, lawl!
