Astro van bogging down

When i'm on the on-ramp for the highway, and I floor it, my engine seems to bog down. There is no acceleration. The engine has alot of miles on it, just wondering how I can solve this problem? I think it might be a clogged fuel filter, not sure. Just trying to get some ideas before i go spend money. Thanx

i would do a fuel filter and also check to see if the catalytic converter is clogged before anything else. let me know what you come up with.

check your plugs and wires.... make sure every plug is working, and every wire...

more than likely a fuel filter IMO. But check the plugs and clean the fuel system

i had this problem in my old car and it ended up being the timing belt

Sorry, still tryin to get this fuel filter done. My uncle's garage is always full of cars, aand plus i'm pretty sure my fuel lines into the filter are rusted, so i'm askin a day off of work just in case one of the lines break. keep you posted as soon as i get it done.
