I know there are a lot of people who don't love JL on here, but I'll post the build log over here too...
I already posted the pic of part of the enclosure in another thread, but starting a new one here...This isn't exactly going to be a full build log, mostly just pics of it as things get finished. This is my buddy's van, we have been building it at his house the last few months. What we have been trying to accomplish is an "old-school" type build, full install, LOW LOW extension, move a bunch of air, and do decent SPL (definitely not our main goal). I worked at a shop in Akron, Ohio in the 90's doing mostly big installs, and competed some myself. He used to compete in consumer classes in USAC back then too. (Both of us had world records in the 90's). HACKMUNCH on CACO was a helper in the design some and some of the tuning...on to the pics...
Posted this one before. sealed portion of the 4th order. 18 cu. ft. sealed, 54 ported, tuned around 46 or so....
