alright box is being built tomorrow...i think im gonna go 38" wide....10" deep and 10" wide...1.2 cubes tuned to 40htz should be interesting

Flattest response with good extension is .6 per driver tuned to 38 hz. I had a pair of Assassin 8s in a box built to those specs and it sounded great on pretty much everything. The lower the freq the louder it got, too. Was feeding the pair about 800w with no subsonic filter with no problems at all as well.
