infinity kappa 2 way on jl audio slash 300

Sub I series incriminator audio 10's (2) in custom fiberglass ported box (2-2.5 sq @ 34-40hz).

I love my slash series amps. I've done 3 cars with them. Is it worth the cash to drop 350$ on a 1k slash for this build? I was looking at other cheap amps that put out 750-1200 @ 1 ohm but I'm not sure... any thoughts? sq / dd / reliable

If you want the 1000/1 be prepared to upgrade the alternator or leave it turned down. Amazing power but beyond hungry

how hungry? I like the idea of going with a amp with a ton of headroom and leaving the bass boost way down but the sensitivity set for a really high dynamic range of bass. how much alt power?

Leave bass boost all the way down no matter what amp you get

If you turn up ur sensitivity /gain past 1/3rd most of the time it will slighty clip. Thats suposed to be matched with ur head units preamp output volts. If you have a after market head unit itll be around 4.2-4.5 volts (( rca) so that meams ur sensitivity should ne turned just a little. 6vlts-0.2 volts.. you can always turn the gain up just a tad more than the headunit volts but id watch out because if u turn your gain up to much itll soud muddy
