i dont have the money for a distribution block so i decided to make my own...but im wondering if theres any problems with it that you can think of. its a bit crude, but whatever. i plan on either fabbing up some kind of cover to go over top of it out of plastic or dipping it in plastidip or something to keep it from welding...without the use of a welder in the back of my truck.

the blue 4g goes to my mono rf 6001bd. the red 8g? goes to my crossfire 4ch. the center input on the block will be the 4g input.

also, is there any real problem with runnin three grounds? or is it only a waste of wire.

I hope that's GROUND distribution.

If it's power - and touches ANYTHING metal in your car prepare for a light show, blown fuses, and or melted wires or worse.

BTW - steel doesn't conduct NEARLY as well as copper -- there is probably enough mass, and a short enough distance that there's no significant loss, but just a head's up.

That honestly scares the hell outta me. If you send me your addy I'll send you a cheapy distro block that I have laying around. No charge //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Just don't want to see anyone, or anything get hurt.

That being said, the design is helluva cool. Props for thinking outside the box.

yeah its power. hey atleast the lightshow would be free of charge. minus my truck.

as long as its insualted from everything then you should be ok, but not having fuses on your distro is a bit sketchy.

basically if that wire shorts anywhere, one of them can\will catch on fire from excess heat\current.

ive seen it done many times, its not something hard. just make sure you insulate it.
