I can confirm this except when i saw it done...it was shot in the belly with a 12ga. and the Medical sergeant had to sustain its life for 24 hours.I dont know about shooting pigs but I know for a fact that the Special Forces will shoot a Goat for Medic Training. They Shoot the goat with in a non-lethal area and the combat medic has to keep it alive over a certain amount of time. They dress the wound, stop the bleeding and even give the goat a I.V.. Crazy stuff......
throw a human out there and let them try to save it. closest youll get to the real thing. a pig is a pig and has a different body structure, reaction, and mentality than other things. if they can shoot a pig without intentions of killing it just to save it, throw a human out there and let them just shoot it to make it bleed so they can patch it back up.fvck peta, if they save one life due to that training, then it was worth it
