Arizona swatt eff up big time...

From the video, he would have known it was Police at his door. No need to be pointing a gun as they enter the door.

Perhaps an unfortunate accident, but I see no logical reason for him to be pointing a rifle at police in this situation.

How would he have known that? He was asleep. The wife woke him screaming that intruders were breaking windows and pointed a gun at her thru the window. They did not identify themselves as police. Just screamed "search warrant". Just like the home invaders do. Then held the EMT's outside for over an hour before telling them the "perp" was already dead.

There was little chance this would end well. They sent a swat team to a house with a mother and baby to arrest someone for a non-violent warrant.

Every time this happens, it is to be expected, not a surprise. That is what happens when you use an army to perform LEO duties.

If the gun monkey's had stayed home, everyone would be safer.

Well put....

But if you got to read the warrant before the PD sealed up everything, his name was not on it.

BS, did you not see the vid? It was full daylight and they blasted sirens and yelled swat. He should have known who was there. If I was under the information I was doing a drug raid and some fool is pointing a rifle at me after indicating who I was and making all the proper noise, I would cap him too. Better him than me.

sirens..."police-search warrant" *law abiding war veteran citizen grabs his AR? OK... you guys busting the cops balls over this is really showing some immaturity, did they have a warrant to enter the home? all they know is there's a guy in there and they have enough on him to get a warrant, he pointed a gun at them and they fired during a raid, safety on or not he pointed at them and thats what got him shot

My dog barked last night, I have a sound system...don't know about you guys but that makes me think intruder possibly thief possibly armed. I grabbed my shotgun immediately and went to the door to check it out. I would be dead if that was swat, If it was criminals and I went without my gun I could also be dead......now I'm feeling screwed either way.

I watched the video...every one of those pigs looked ready to shoot something....not a cool head at all will not make good decisions period. Whether or not this was justified, I happen to believe it wasn't. These guys do not handle situations well.
