how much area would i have to install an amp under my seat in my truck. it is an 04 chevy ext. cab. i was wanting to put it under the passenger seat. what kind of area would i have so i can make sure to get the right physical sized amp.....its for components. the amp im looking at is 12x10x2.25

well i cant measure it completely.....there are a lot of obsactles in the way.....i was wondering if anyone knew before i pulled a lot of it apart to measure....

uhh try sticking your amp under tehre to see if it will fit.

My Orion fits under my pass seat, but my Directed wouldn't fit under the drivers seat, so I had to bolt it to my box and run more wires //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

I have power seats so nothing fits under there //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif But lots of wrappers and change manage to find room.

if it is ont he rear wall it is harder for a theif to get to and it is out of sight. dont have to look at any wires, or an amp sticking out from under the seat when the seat is slid forward/backwards.
