Area of Cone

I wanted to put 6x9s in the back of my car (92 NX2000) but from what ive heard, it would be hard to fit those. Also, I know most peoples stand on SQ of 6x9s on this forum. What size round speaker would have comparable area to a 6x9??

I am trying to find a speaker that will put out good bass for the back. I dont think I can fit 8" if the 6x9s wont fit. The biggest I think I could fit would be 6.75". I was possible looking at Polk db675 for rear fill.
