are you racist?

I have a feeling the results of that test may be skewed because of the fact that they equate european american with good and african american with bad first. Then switching it up on you when you are used to where things should be going. Maybe I'm wrong but it seemed harder because of the fact that the test had me in a groove and then 180ed it on me. I sure wish they would swap where there good and bad start out every other test (if they don't already, which I doubt).

I'll be honest here, the second half of the test was a lot easier. With good and European on the same side, I didn't get confused at all. The first time, I kept getting confused.

I'm going to hell.

Wait, European was with bad first for me. It was with good first for you?

well the test said i was racist, but i have black freinds, well one, and hes deaf, so as you can see i have no problem with minorities //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

:edit: that makes me sound racist, which im not.

The order in which tests are administered does make a difference in some tests to the overall result. However, the difference is small and recent changes to the test have sharply reduced the influence of order. Because of this order effect, the orders used for IATs presented on this website are assigned at random. For any data we present, we are careful to be sure that half the test-takers got the A then B order and the other half got the B then A order. With the revised task design, the order has only a minimal influence on task performance. If you want to check whether the order made a difference for you, you can take the test again and complete it if you get assigned to the reverse order. If you do take the test twice in different orders and get different outcomes, the best estimate of your result is intermediate between the two.
That explains it. Interesting.

Are you saying that European Americans started out with bad on their side for you? If that's the case then I was wrong in assuming they didn't swap starting positions every other test. Well I guess everyone's racist then, lol.
