How can you be 17 and 10k in debt?? You have to be 18 just to get a credit card alone. I'm guessing maybe parents that would loan you the money.

join the national guard, you get 4 years of experience for little to no effort and college payed for

I'm generally a happy person and am pretty satisfied with my life. But at this current time it's pretty difficult for me, found out that when i was 18 and had my shoulder/elbow surgeries my insurance didn't cover exactly what i thought they were covering.

 

So i wouldn't of had an issue with that because it may have been my mistake that i didn't read close enough. But little do i know they have been sending bills to the wrong address for almost 3 years now. 3 years and not paying off a bill = a ton of interest and them taking away my assets. I went to the bank like a month ago and found out over $4k was deducted out of my checking account, leaving me almost no money to pay my other bills. Then i call the hospital and talk to a bunch of people there. Also my other doctors that helped me through therapy, MRIs, etc. I find out that i owe just a shade under $12,000. That's why sadly i had to sell off some of my vehicles and recoup some of my money back.

I'm not happy, and I'm not upset/unhappy/disgruntled.

I'm on the verge of getting laid off at work, but everything away from there is great. Makes me not really care.

I say "related", but then maybe happiness in being in debt aren't related? I would be friggin depressed if I was in debt.

Yes and no. Got a job, have my hobbies, I seem to keep relatively busy on the weekends.

What sucks though is the lovelife. I can't seem to find girls I am interested in or have anything in common with. No I am not saying I am interested in men. Just saying other than the *** and keeping loneliness away I have no real interest in being with a girl. I don't know if its me or just the total lack of choices. This has brought me down mainly because it has me questioning my sanity.

OK, so you're happy as long as you can "manage the debt".

What if you bought a new house, then lost your job. Would you still be happy? I would not: Too stressful for me.

I prefer no debt at all: No debt to have to manage that way. I got better things to do, or be concerned with, than debt management, or having to pay somebody back whether or not I have the money.

Gotta keep trying. I recall having no woman, and wasting time dating chicks I knew immediately I was never gonna dig: It sucked, no fun. It'll change at some point.
