First off cutting off parts of dogs is also weird and wrong. In fact cropping ears is illegal in many parts of Europe. Furthermore the other examples you provide are done voluntarily by the individual, with a conscious choice.

THis is not the case with the vast majority of circumcision or ear/tail cropping.

Not in all cultures...consider the culture of many Africans and Native Americans....What about spaying and neutering? Is that also wrong as well?

cutting off part of an infant's genitals for no real reason is weird. Cutting off a pets genitals to keep it from reproducing has a practical purpose.

Its as weird as those Africans who stretch out their lips with disks or necks with rings... except worse because at least those freaks are of age and it is consensual.

I don't argue with social mores...I just follow them. Look through the thread...since females are more accepting of the circumcised penis...and the name of the game for the species is reproduction. Like I said before, if affixing a ***** to my head gave me a ****** competitive advantage, I would appreciate my parents for it.

If girls had no opinion or no preference, then it would be "weird". But since my mother and my girlfriend must prefer the circumcised penis, it is only necessary that I do it. From my understanding, the procedure has higher risk of complication if executed at an age where the person is old enough to make an educated choice on the matter.

Bizzarre compared to a world wide view, perhaps. But is it neccessary that we, as Americans, consider the world view?

I was discussing geopolitics with a student from Uzbeckistan yesterday for about an hour...just talking about the differences between counties and whatnot. We discussed for a while about "Do they hate us" and things along those lines. We asked about our feelings towards them...and I responded most people have no idea where it is on a map, let alone any particular feelings toward the people. Apparently, the govt started riots over there in 2005. But the basic discussion revolved around Americans choice to not care what the rest of the world thinks...basically because we are required to help whenever, wherever. Think about it...when I donate to charities, it is because I believe I am in a better financial condition than those whom the money is going. Should I consider what they think? Absolutely not. If they were that smart, they wouldn't need my help.

As for the European Union being a long-term threat to American dominance. Perhaps, but I HIGHLY doubt they can maintain for the long-term without political unification. Consider this: France has major pandemic requiring large borrowing to finance solution. Large borrowings induce inflation. However, borrowing is capped in European Economic Zone. Do people die or does France borrow the money. By borrowing the money anyway, it create inflationary pressure in France. So people in France who are unaffected can buy stuff from neighboring Germany, sell in France for arbitrage profit as they both use the same currency. The EU is one major catasphrophe away from falling apart.

I'd say it is reflective of parts of society in the comments about females opinion. 4/4 ladies in my office prefer circumcised to uncircumsized, with 50% saying they would refuse to date uncircumcised.

i was born in poland, and to be honest, i wish i could still be there, so then i would be "normal" lawl

i have asked my mom before why she didnt have ,me circumsized.. and she simply reliped
