Are the DMM's @ pep boys any good?

pepboys sells a dmm for 13$, i was wondering if its any good? My dad has one but it measures on a line meter rather than with digital numbers.

The reason I ask this is because I googled DMM and things came up for like $200.

I got my dmm from sears for 50 dollars or so. Its nice, it does everything you would need for car audio. has ac, dc, ohm, continuity and like 15 more settings

Go to SEARS and grab one of their digital multimeters for around $20. That's all you will need.

I got mine from advanced auto for 17. prob the same thing as pep boys. it should be fine

Build quality comes in for something that cheap, I got mine for $55 I think, does ohms, voltage and a whole buncha other cool stuff, and has a very durable thick rubber case around it

Build quality, Parts quality, and durability. Accuracy also comes into question, but honestly the 50$ isn't going to be much more accurate. To get a fairly accurate reading your going to have spend at least 200 bucks.

i got mine from wallmart, 20 bucks or so. it has a yellow case. i wired 4 d-4 subs i was looking for a 2.67 ohm load ,when i tested it said 2.67.for the money i say get the one i have. if your looking to check voltage it does that just fine

If you have the money for the $50 one get it and keep it it should last a lifetime if not get the cheap one and itll do the same thing but might break in 5-10 years.
