Are Q-Forms kick panels worth it?

lol first, that is my first system. and second, hmm, i wonder where i would build stuff? in front of my house on the sidewalk so everybody walking by could see. YOU FAIL
you dont have a driveway? how was your parents house built? was it built on site or was it pre-fab'd in that 1 garage that that guy has in your town? like i said.. excuses excuses. if you put half the effort into building your own things as you did to make sure you got the system that you have you would only be better for it.

edit** and wtf does people seeing you build something have to do with anything??? i can see it now, construction workers stopping everything and refusing to work because people can see them.. wtf does that even mean???

i bought some for my F150 last year and think they are great. easy to install and improved the sound ten fold. i agree that they are a bit cheaply made but nothing that a layer of deadner won't cure. They color match my truck perfectly and look almost stock. I hear that this is not always true in some cars so be sure to check around. From what I understand some are great and others don't fit very well and are not set in proper places for good imaging. For only 120 bucks I was more then willing to pay to avoid having to make my own.

For me its not about the cost and not wanting to build somthing. I have the tools and skills to make nearly anything I want. But if I can buy something for **** near what it would cost me in time and materials to built myself i'm all for breaking out the cash.

i need to travel? you dont have 1 single friend with a driveway, basement or garage? yea, some people might say that YOU need to get out more and start networking.

Oh yes, I'm sure that there are plenty of people who are gonna be more than willing to let you work with resin in their basement and rot out their house. Have you ever built kick panels or are you just talking shit?

all up in the kool aid and ya dont know the flavor.

of course i have, and i know far worse things kids do in their parents house than use resin. i was using examples, talking about fabricating in general.. doesnt have to be kick panels that are made in someones basement, it could be an enclosure or an amp rack etc etc.. this particular person i was replying to in regard to the basement was about an enclosure. but yea nice proof-read sarcastic remark combo fail.

I want some kick panels for my ford taurus.

I gave up installing my mli-65s cause they dont fit with the door panel on when I made an mdf baffle to get it away from the window.

That sounds great. I hope it will the be same for me. I don't plan to buy them now because I'm broke lol. Just wanted to know people's opinion about them.

One question, how do people manage to make custom ones? I mean, where you get get the shape and measurements in order to match and stuff. I've only worked with fiberglass once, and it was a big failure lol.

would you then like me to calculate how many more pairs of kicks i can fabricate with the left over material then divide the cost between each set? in that case im sure its averages out to less than $25.
if this is the case ill paypal you 25 dollars and ship you my kicks to make me some pods then you just send them back. you can keep all extra materials

depends on how simple or complex you want/need them to be. The more streamlined and contoured thae higher the skill level. Then you have other people happy with blobs covered to match their car/truck interiors. You can make kicks from simple rings to more complex shapes

hmmm lets see, im a guy that would take the time save money and build things myself and you're the guy that doesnt need to buy tools or make anything because you would rather spend the money. now, who's spoiled again? you dont have the money for tools?? im willing to bet your set-up in your sig wasnt free. im also willing to bet that isnt your first system. now, if you took the time and bought tools before your first system you could have probably built your current enclosure yourself. just an fyi tools are an investment. quit making excuses to TRY and prove your point you're failing. ever heard the expression where there's a will there's a way? bottom line you dont have the patience you have to have things NOW NOW NOW.. a trait of a spoiled person.
your just looking to start shit with people arent you? the guy has a point; i dont have the money to buy tools; thats why my 2 10l7s are in a prefab box; but when i do build somthing; ill make some phone calls and use my freinds tools/garage; tools are expensive and not all that important in the grand scheme of things we call life; there are other things that are much more important
