Right now I have my mid on the door and the tweeter on the sail panel. I'm thinking about getting some kick panels, but was kind of surprise when I found out they're so expensive. Do you think the would improve sound quality?

they are kinda flimsy, if you get them - after you cut the holes and install the speakers, put some dynamat type material on the inside, then a layer or two of fiberglass over that to stiffen them up.

i thought about them until i saw the price Yowza! better off going to the junkyard pickin up some used kick panels and making your own for about 25 dollars all materials included.

Sometimes the simplicity works out well....lol But yeah making them is easy enough.

yeah i heard sometimes they get in the way and what not

your better off just doing myour own that way you can make them to how you want them, and for a lot cheaper.

some of yall say making them is cheap and easy, i'd have to disagree with yall on that. gathering up all the materials needed to make kicks can be expensive, especially if you don't know what you are doing and have to start the project over from scratch.

if you are lazy and don't have any materials on hand to make your own kicks then i would just pick up some Qs.

if you do have the materials and the know how then go for making your own.

one thing with the Qs is that the color of some of them for certain cars blend properly with the cars panels unlike making your own, it's either painting it to a color as close as possible or covering it with a material to where it stands out.

Ahh but when you're done with those you can pretty much use the concept towards all other projects.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
