Fegs usually use the word ignorant.Just wanna see how many ignorant people there are.
Honestly being gay has nothing to do with choices. Because gay people decide to try and conform to the societies norm has nothing to do with a choice. This is to say gays/lesbians that try acting straight and engaging in ****** activities with the opposite ***, or even get married to a member of the opposite ***. It's partially genetic, many gay men have brains that are closer to that of woman and vice versa.
I honestly don't believe that someone would "choose" a lifestyle that will be full of problems and turmoil at every turn. It must be one of the most difficult epiphanies to make in life. Imagine finally coming to terms with being an outcast that is continuously looked down upon by society? It must be awful. I can't even imagine how difficult it would be to tell your own parents that you were gay, especially if they are religious.
Granted that I am straight and have a few friends who are gay/lesbian I have talked to them about this and to them liking the same *** is viewed the same as we look at women.
(Time to find the anti-flame suit)
http://www.apa.org/topics/sorientation.htmlWhat causes a person to have a particular ****** orientation? There is no consensus among scientists about the exact reasons that an individual develops a heterosexual, bisexual, gay, or lesbian orientation. Although much research has examined the possible genetic, hormonal, developmental, social, and cultural influences on ****** orientation, no findings have emerged that permit scientists to conclude that ****** orientation is determined by any particular factor or factors. Many think that nature and nurture both play complex roles; most people experience little or no sense of choice about their ****** orientation.
