I see so now I guess I can just say screw it and run them at 1 ohm (one sub per amp) and then after the rise it will be 2 ohm load.

No, they dont come with internal fan so it is normal for them to get hot, so I cant imagine them getting any hotter lol

and my voltage usually sit around high 13 or low 14

ya, ur voltage is prolly an issue if ur current amp is getting hot... u must address that before adding another amp. weather or not u need more battery power or if its time to get a h/o alty

In theory it will be 2 ohm after rise. Pending on setup it could be higher! Either way you will have plenty of power for those subs.

ya impedance rise is a bish.... i bet ur current sub isnt seeing but maybe 1500 watts if its wired at 2 ohm nominal

yeah I would say my sub is running at 3 or so ohm since I wired it at 2 ohm..

and for the heat issue, I dont know why but my amp gets pretty hot and many claimed that it is just normal. It does not go into protect even if I am playing music at max for a while..

If I leave my hand on the amp for like 5 seconds, it is going to hurt lol..

and yeah I am working on getting some fans going, especially if I want to run 2 amps..

I just wish they come with internal fans, oh well.

meh not a whole ton of amps have fans in them stock... but its not hard to add

not that hard to add yeah but for some reason I think it is ugly to have fans around the amp lol.

I am working on a false floor where fans should be completely unseen, but not too sure anymore since I am considering this new project which consists of 2 amps.
