prices are decent, i need to look into all the mini amps out there. What's the best bang for the buck though?

Alpine PDX's are still the best bang for the buck (ebay prices).

Using Carmedia1 as a gauge....the Elf 4-channel Mini (if they will ever have one, which is under debate) is scheduled to be $249. You can get a PDX-4.100 off fleabay for $299 w/ free shipping that'll actually output 125w x 4. That's nearly double the power for an extra $50 (not including shipping on the Elf) in a package that's not a whole lot bigger.

And considering it's highly likely the Elf's will be more affordable than the Arc's, even unathorized, that makes the Arc's value even worse unless you absolutely needed the smallest of the small.

And until the 4-channel is released, if someone wanted 4-channels of power they would require two of the 2-channels. Now you're looking at $320 for a pair of 2-channels and only 70w x 4, whereas a PDX-4.150 can be had for $425 w/ free shipping and you'd get an extra 100w per channel...over double the power and nearly exactly the same space requirements for only an extra $100.

hmmm...what about the Eclipse amps, they seem to make a lot of power in a small package. Only problem is the older line doesn't a big enough mono amp. Newer ones are rather ugly

Exactly the reason I never went with the older line.

That and they weren't considerably smaller than a "typical" amplifier. They were still ~15" wide IIRC. That's not really that small.

its the first ive heard of it, when i do a search there was only like 3 threads with it mentioned, so some people have not heard of it.

My guess would be someone misspoke, considering MSRP is around $379.

if the .100 is more like 125 then what is the output on the .150?
