Arc comps

I need to get some comps that are pretty good, but aren't a huge amount. Jason at Arc Audio said that he could get me a pair of KARs for $129. Is that a good price? Considering that they are entry level, are those comps any good? How do they compare to the FD and ACS series? Thanks for your time.

Arc makes some really great products, the KAR series are really good entry lever Comps and smooth sounding. If you want to purchase them go to http://www.sonicelectronix.com they are 79.99USD there..

Image Dynamics comps are a great choice as well, but i would diffently go with the Arc Audio..

I mean this is ARC after all so I doubt that they are horrible sounding by any means, but does anyone know how they compare to other comp sets such as the type-r or boston comp sets?

Theyre entry level. Sound great for the budget minded.

The only legit place to buy them from is Jason or Arc directly.

sonic or any other website is Not.

Well, I think I'm going to go with these. Does anyone want to recommend an amp to accompany them? They do 50 RMS - 100 MAX @4ohms. Thanks for your help.
