Does anyone have any first hand experience with this amp?

Power output RMS @ 4 ohms 4 x 80 watts / 1 x 200 Watts

Power output RMS @ 2 ohms 4 x 100 watts / 2 ohms not recommended on sub output

Power output RMS @ 4 ohms bridged 2 x 200 watts channel 1-4 bridged

Transient Distortion (100 watts) Frequency Response 20Hz - 20 KHz

Signal to Noise Ratio >79dB

Bass Boost +12db@45Hz

Crossover (Butterworth) High (65Hz - 250Hz) / Low (50Hz - 250Hz)

Gain Range .25V - 4.0V

Size 10 3/4" (L) x 7 1/8" (W) x 1 7/8" (H)

The 200 watts on the sub is kind of a downer, but I am on a budget.

Yes. I bought one a week ago off eBay for like $150 shipped and replaced a Memphis audio 125x4 @ 4 / 250x4 @ 2 amp. The Arc Audio piece weighs like 15 pounds less and takes up very little space. It sounds nice and clean, and is barely noticeably less powerful than my prior Memphis boat anchor of an amp. The sub channel, well, 200 watts to one 12" sub wasn't overly impressive but I just ran it series to 2 12"s (knowing that they would be underpowered), and the increased cone surface is doing the trick. For what it's size, weight and efficiency, it is a pretty amazing little unit.

That said, the only drawback I have read is that class D full range designs can have difficulty isolating alternator whine, and I have noticed that mine translates a bit of that through my Morel components, but not so much that would cause me to care.

Yeah, I was looking at that amp on ebay, more than likely from the same seller. I have seen that model with and without sub inputs, did yours come with them? I messaged the seller and he stated they did include a subwoofer input. He must have a revised version of that model, because some just come with the front and rear speaker inputs.

To be honest, I am running only my fronts of the front stereo channel and sent the sub signal to the rear. I don't recall if it has sub inputs but I think it doesn't; I think it draws the sub from the rear RCA inputs.

I just got one of these for the wife's install. Seraphim can you snap a photo of the input section? I would like to see the crossover settings ect ect, all of the photos on Google are showing it at an angle or showing it with a 4 input for the 5 channel.

Thanks!

Fwiw, when he messaged me, he stated that it came with 3 sets on inputs (front, rear, sub).

Yes I checked mine ans it has three sets of inputs.

You can buy an xxd 2080 on eBay right now for around 70 bucks, being the 2 channel version, but the 5 channel 5080 can be had sometimes for 120 to 180.

The sub channel only being able to do 200w at 4 ohms with no support for 2 ohms made me think it was not going to be usable but it's pushing 2 12s right now off the 5th channel in my car and is doing the job
