Arc Audio ARC 6000 Components.. Advice?

Anybody have experience with this 6.5 comp set? I've read some of Arc speakers were made by rainbow and I've read some are pretty lackluster..

I've searched and searched and found little info on these and would like some input on the quality of this set, I've found a NIB set on craigslist for 175. and considered snagging them but figured I better do a little research..

The seller claims they sound better than any comps in their price range, He says he paid a little over 400.

Are these worth the 175 asking price or could I do better??

Any input is greatly appreciated.

I have a set in my car right now very smooth, very soft sound.

I take them over Hertz HSK165 or JL C5 anyday.

How about midbass pretty decent? Think I'll see if they are still around and snag them if so...

The Arc 6000 need around 125rms for the mid bass to sound good, the newer Arc 6.2 doesn't need much but the newer sound a bit better.

You not gonna find anything sound good like the Arc for $175.

I sold my Jl C5 for the Hertz, i sold the Hertz for the Arc.
