This is an awesome sounding sub, and is definitely a SQ sub. It shares the same motor as the famous Flatline series, not the other motor in the arc 12. D4 voice coil.

The ARC 15 is based on the ARC Flat Line 12" motor (similar to the ID SPL) we use a poly cone rather then paper. The SQ is good but getting punch will require some careful box tuning. The 2.6 cu. ft box you have may actually work ok for this. I have attached a graph of your response curve and the recommended box curve. The 3.0 cu ft box goes a little deeper but that is about it.
I use 2 of the 15's in my car in 5.2 ported at 30Hz and it works fine. Goes deep but still has good attack. Most people are surprised it's 15's."
I had it in a box that was around 2.8net ported to 30hz, and i would say it would sound much nicer in about 3.5 cubes. Nice sq!
