aq2200d?

I have two 12" SEs on a 1200d, but i think they'll take a lot more power. The 1200d pushes a lot, but just not enough for these. Would the 2200 be fine with the gains set properly to around 2000RMS?

If that'll work, I would consider selling my 1200d and buying the 2200. Do you think I could sell it for around $220? It's a 10/10 amp and solid as a rock, just need more powa. What do yall think?

Just be careful with it. They are only rated at 600w.

Well I'd definitely be careful and set the gains right, but I've seen people put 900-1000 on em daily. I could even go a little lower with 850 each. Or are there any other suggestions on power in the 1800-2000 range?

Just a question before i try it out haha. I'm in the process of running another run of kicker 4 gauge to my amp, right now it's one run of walmart 4 gauge with walmart 8 gauge ground... do you think I'll see any improvements with 4 guage + 8 gauge grounds and 4 + 4 gauge power?

dont even bother with the 4. get 0/1 guage. or if you do the 4 do one run of pos and one run of neg to the amp.

I added another 4 gauge, i had it sitting around and i dont want to buy more wire... two runs of 4 is like 1 gauge. And today i noticed it made a huge difference haha. Lowest i dropped a full tilt was 13.8 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif aq1200d and my 4x125 amp.

sundown 1500 too much $ for me right now, even if i sold my aq amp... any other ideas?

He will be completely fine if he sets his gain correctly...

You can't have too big of an amp if it is properly installed.

Ok sounds good. If anyone knows of 2000 rms + or - for around $280-$320 let me know. I'm considering it for now and for future upgrades. Thanks all
