why not get two 10's?

I have an extra 10 in my room BNIB too that I was gonna install but wanted to try one sub first....

Also, any shop down here charges an arm and a leg to build custom boxes down here. 120+ for boxes.

CAn anyone on here build me a box for 2 SDC2.5 10's? I have some specs for it but just need it built. Doesn't need to be carpeted either.

wel i turned the gain on the amp about 3/4 of the way and the result were ehh... a little better.... I just measured the dimensions of the box and put it into RE audio box calculator and it said the box is tuned to 42 hz... =( Mobile 1 lied to me i guess...

Is this the reasonw hy I am not getting a good response from the sub and it not hitting the lows too well?

Tuned to 40 absolutely sucks when hitting lows. I remember when i switched out a phoenix gold Rsdc 12 inch from a 32hz box to the 40, huge difference.

yeah I just found out that Home depot cuts the wood for free when you buy the wood! The only i was worried about was cutting the wood, but since Home Depot can do that for me, It'll be easy! Any tips of building a box?

Tip #1, don't let Home Depot cut your wood.

Also AQ subs like to be tuned high, my friend's 15 is tuned to 38hz and still slams the lows.

Mine tuned to 39 was mediocre on the lows. But if I had one again, I wouldn't tune it higher than 35.

Yeah the box I'm getting is getting tuned to 32 hz.

Well I have a friend that works at a cabinet shop that cuts wood all day, so I'm probably gonna let him build the box for me. Or at least just cut the wood.

I'd still wait for the sub to break in, that way you can really start to see how the sub performs in your current box.
