AQ vs. Hifonics

good choice going with the aq....although i dont know much about hifonics stuff....i just purchased a aq 1200 about a week ago and LOVE IT. im runnin 2 JL w6s and they seem to have plenty of power with NO clipping. i especially like the gain knob that has a clipping light on to warn you. if you're worried about your electrical do the big 3. some guys on here told me to do it and it worked wonders and it is very inexpensive and easy to do.

If your gonna spend 250, i would keep my eye on the classifieds and save up about 50 more bucks and pick up a used Sundown SAZ1500. They will do more than rated power, and are stronger than the Hifonics definetely, and more powerful than the AQ. you could get one for close to 300 sometimes, i ended up selling mine for 315 shipped in 9/10 condition

you wont regret getting something with good quality now, so less problems in the future

Sundowns quality is no better than aqs, as far that's concerned. Both companies make solid stuff. Flip a coin
