AQ sd2.5 or Re SE

I ran my old HD's at 35Hz for a while and SQ was VERY good as it seemed to offer a very flat response. After about I year I changed to 38hz and never looked back.

i love it, 147 at 31hz in a sq setup, i question your sanity, you've either lost it or your a genius either way i always use you for my example when someone wines "i dont want to tune my AQ's that high!"

99% of the time I listen at moderate volumes with the subs dialed way down and you could honestly mistake them for a pair of sealed 10's. But they do have plenty of kick on rock music when I'm in the mood.

I recently upped tuning to 42Hz and dropped the box volume down to around 7.25cubes, so there's some loss on the bottom end now, but I don't listen to rap, so it's fine for me.

exactly, i think its more dependent on the car

my box is tuned to 40hz and does 140.5 @ 33hz 144.1 @40hz 146.4 @ 46hz

its possible. im just sayin that AQ doesnt put the correct rms values on their website. making it unattractive to m penis. for example, the AQ sd2.5 can handle 600rms per sub. bull butter. they can take more power than a midget stripper with an ex v4gina

Personally I think the SD2.5 would be fine rated at 1000 rms, and the HD3c rated 1500-2000.................but I guess I fail to see where that makes the 2200 lame or gay?

i agree with him the AQ 2200 are great amps at an awsome price my HDC3 15 likes tuning at 37hz with the Hifonics 1608 and it will slam the lows and still have great SQ. I find out saturday what im metering at i will be bassboxing at a local car show. O and the performance isnt all in equipment part of it has to do with how well the box is designed and constructed. You can have the best equipment and the worst box and sound like donky butt lol.
