HDC's peaked lower in my set up, so I dropped down to 147 @ 31hz. Box is tuned to 38hz. forward firing sealed off. SQ is VERY good and that's really what matters to me.

I raised tuning a fuzz and dropped the box volume a little, but haven't gotten it metered since as I threw in the temp wall for the last meet...

Yea I agree that the hdc doesnt "slam" the lows as others have said to, especially tuned from 38-40....

maybe tuned lower it may, but I would think that the SE or sdc2.5 would slam the lows much better since these drivers are built more for that

i love it, 147 at 31hz in a sq setup, i question your sanity, you've either lost it or your a genius either way i always use you for my example when someone wines "i dont want to tune my AQ's that high!"

Trust me I made the mistake of tuning mine a little too low 36hz and it gets way lower than any other sub I've heard with that high of tuning. 38-40hz is right on and it will still hammer the lows like no other. With my box tuned to 36hz it hits the lows almost as good as my rl-s did in a box tuned to 30hz and the rl-s is a low end monster

sdc2.5? or hd3c? i dont think i go a whole lot lower than 35hz, i would personally tune between 36-37 and then go from there, but i do know they aren't the kind of subs you tune between 30-32 like alot of sql related subs.

2.5's. it mite be higher tho idk the actual disp of the subs. it plays very loud even at 35hz. as in both lines in hypnotize(the 39 and 35) are equally loud and awesome it plays throw it up awesome on all notes. unlike the cvrs in the same box which only played the low note loud and on hypnotize they wouldnt play the low at all deff an improvement lol. hopin to do a 144 wit um

so aq's sd2.5 will he awesome I know at 36-38 but anyone know about the re se 12"s? Probably going to run a Hifonics BXi2008d.
