he did a 148 with two 18s and 4000 watts in im assuming a SUV?? Whats wrong with his install?? I did a 148 with a single 15 in a trunk

He also did that number at around 34Hz and I'm guessing you did yours MUCH higher. It's set up for daily, so it peaks pretty low, but kills on the music he listens to...

I will try to get a pic up of my install with some more info. What kind of electrical did sleepy have and what vehicle is his setup in? Was that a peak score?

HO alt, 1-2 batts in rear, 4k amp, box is 10.25 tuned to 38Hz. It's in an Envoy...

Mines daily also, its only tuned to 38hz, its not a burp box

His boxes were way overpriced. I've built boxes that were very similar in design, did similar scores, and only cost me

referring to sleepy's box what are the port measurements?

16^2 based on 10 1/2 cubes and 18" deep, but box ended up being about 10 1/4" as I had to make it 1/2" narrower at the last minute.

he did a 148.xx, but it seems MUCH louder to the ear. Some deadening would probably help his numbers, but for a daily system it's quite impressive and more then most would actually need...

ive heard this before about his car lol.

seems he got a relatively low tl score with his last set-up, yet to the ear, everyone said it sounded much louder and more impressive than his score. i guess it could just be the positioning of the mic in his car. i mean, id be interested to see a headrest number instead of a dash number (assuming that is a dash number).

just cause it "only" hit a 148 at the dash, doesnt mean it isnt any louder anywhere else in the car...

his 148+ was at the headrest and it also did a 148+ on the dash sealed up.

So he has around 170 square inches of port, also how far from the hatch is the port? I have heard if it is too close, unless you used aeroports, that can also take away come dbs. Don't flame me it is just something I heard from a few competitors.

Also my box is tuned for daily but it seems to peak at a lower frequency than what it is tuned to, 40hz. Also for some reason that video in that link that was posted did not work for me. Is there anyway you can repost it? Cuz I would like to see it.
