Hasnt the 1500d been tested to do close to 2000@12v?

What does the aq put out?

Ive had 5 or 6 2200d so i definately dont have anythi g against them.

The AQ's are rated at 14.4 but i emailed AQ and they said they do rated closer to 13.8v. I don't know if there's any truth to that but it seems pretty accurate. All of the clamps I've seen of the 1500's usually do close to 1800-2000 @ 12-13v

So you were wired to .5 ohm or close to get rise to 1 ohm?

Its possible I was clipping cause we did not scope it but it was 6 d2 subs so I was wired to .67 I think, it was right around 1.06 or so when they clamped it

Also worthy of consideration would be Crescendo 2K and the new DC 2K (though I'd swear by the old dc PAI2000.1 if you can find one). Hifonics BRZ 2400.1 appears identical to the AQ 2200 if you can find one, and I think American Bass also makes an amp in that power/price range. Just saying. I'd go towards Sundown because the Zenon boards are proven performers and I like the way Jacob does business, but really I doubt you'll notice much difference for normal music listening.
