Like the title says, im thinking of selling my Alpine MRV-1507 2 channel amp. The amp works, and is quite a beast. It is DEFINATELY underrated. Alpine's official specs for this sub are
Power Output: RMS Continuous Power (at 12.0V, 20 Hz to 20
kHz)
MRV-1507
Per channel into 4 ohms ......................... 150W, 0.08% THD
Per channel into 2 ohms .......................... 300W, 0.3% THD
Bridged into 4 ohms ................................ 600W, 0.3% THD
Power Output: RMS Continuous Power (at 14.4V, 20 Hz to 20
kHz)
MRV-1507
Per channel into 4 ohms ......................... 225W, 0.08% THD
Per channel into 2 ohms .......................... 450W, 0.3% THD
Bridged into 4 ohms ................................ 900W, 0.3% THD
Max. Power (at 14.4V)
MRV-1507
Per channel into 4 ohms ............................................ 450W
Bridged into 4 ohms ................................................ 1500W
Frequency Response ................... 10 Hz to 50 kHz (+0, –1 dB)
Signal-to-Noise Ratio
(referenced to rated power) ........................................ 105 dBA
Anyways, this amp was used to power my 2 memphis M-class 12's. It sounded awesome, loud and very clear. The only problem with it is with the sub i want to get, the impedences dont mesh well, so i need a monoblock thas 2 ohm stable and pushes about 800w RMS. It has a built in an too! Also, one of the speaker terminal screws are stripped, so before selling it im going to re-thread it, and get a new screw. The amp has wire insert capability, so having the threads isnt as important. The amp sells for $300+ on eBay, so no lowballing please. I would also consider a trade for a good monoblock amp. The amp shown is the bigger of the two.
