Apine Monitor cable question

i have an IVA-D300, and i wanna know if anyone knows if i can just cut the cable that goes to the monitor from them brain and extend it myself with the right size wireing? anyone know if anything in there is overly complex like fiber cables or anything?

well, i cracked it open... only 27 wires to extend... not bad.

i'll let you guys know the outcome.

i would not recommend it, most likely cannot work, they only make them that long for a reason. im betting it will have no display

added about 3 feet to all cable, and works like a charm so far... worst come to worst im out a 80 dollar cable i guess... but so far so good.
