in this case yeah the ap is more power if the choice was 1610 vs 1500 the hifonics would be more power

Yes most hifonics are overated. I believe the 2010 series do rated though.

I had a hifonics 1508d on a nightshade 18 and hit 144s on music and 145 burp on stock electrical wired at .8ohm. (outlaw in the kick) I thought it sounded pretty good for what it was and never gave me problems.

i do want to try out the new aqx line from audiopipe tho...they seem pretty solid

I think Jacob from Sundown compared the new AP1800 to some amps a while back. IIRC, the AP1800 only did around 1440w RMS. I can't seem to find the thread so I'm not 100% sure on all the details.

Honestly, all the amps listed probably do around the same power considering they are all on 4g wire and around 100amps fused.

you can run the 15001 down to.35 for burps and .5 daily. it will go into protect if voltage drops below 11v which is good,save ur amp...

Yep I heard the 1800 is the only amp that didn't do more than it is rated for.
