AP18001D amp for powering 2 12'' alpine type r's?

Either the AP18001D or the AP15001D is what i'm thinking for those 2 type r's. Would either of these amps run on stock electrical system alright? I might upgrade battery to yellowtop optima eventually.

Audiopipe AP18001D 1800 Watt RMS Class D 1 Ohm Stable Amplifier w/ Remote Boost Control

750 X 1 RMS @ 4 Ohms

1100 X 1 RMS @ 2 Ohms

1800 X 1 RMS @ 1 Ohms

Also, how could i go about powering some speakers in the front/rear on top of all this. Haven't picked out any component speakers yet, but would it be possible to power 2 amps with only an upgraded battery? One of the Audiopipe amps for the subs and maybe a 4 channel amp for the front/rear speakers? Thats what I'm thinking. Any advice guys?

well, they both should work on stock electrical with the "big 3" upgraded.

But you should definitally get another battery or at least upgrade the one you have.

And it would matter how powerful your 4ch is if you would have to upgrade more.

I read that the ap amps are a little power hungry, people say the MB quart dsc1500 is more efficient, may want to check that out for stock electrical

also dont think the ap1800 is worth it

where did you read this at?? and why dnt you think its worth it?

Get ap 1500 I have the 3000 on just big 3 and can't run it full yet till I get another batt and a ho alt if u wanna be safe just get a bigger alt and yellow top and call it a deal should run anything under 2000 with no prob but def do big 3 helps alot

Anyone correct me if I'm wrong but from my expieriance with my 3000 that's way you would need

And don't listen to people knocking on ap awesome amp for the money and it powers my two dc lvl 4's just fine

4 ohms dual subs wired to 1100 x 1 rm @ 2 ohms
you wont be able to wire the pair of dual 4 ohmers to 2ohm. either 1 ohm if parallel or 4ohm if serial. if the ap's ratings are accurate (which i have no idea) you probably should pass on the 1800 and go with the 1500.

You have a blown cap in the amp more than likely. Had the same thing happen to a soundstream amp.

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...
