I have a 05 Land Rover LR3 with nav, I know the HU can't be replaced but I would like to look at replacing the speakers and amp. Anyone know which units there are to bypass the Harmon Kardon amp and get a RCA signal?

Also, if I used a pac unit or other would I be better with that or buyin a RF 3sixty.2 or comparable unit.

Why you think it's impossible to replace the HU? If you don't have wiring diagram for the HU+Amp+etc, you will need PRO "digger" to find out all the outputs of a HU and all the connections of the AMP (and the location of an AMP). If you are in it, then go ahead and "dig" yourself. Try to web the wiring diagram of your LR3.

Because the HU is wired into the nav unit which is wired into a bunch of other electrical and notification shit. So yes, its impossible to replace.....and WTF is PRO "digger":wow:

So anyone work on one that knows.....//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

best option is probably to use a 3sixty or similar

If the range has nav allready then what else could you need sides from an external processor

I like the 3sixtys size but you have to get the .2 to really take full advantage of time alginment, crossover slopes, etc

If an above basic set up is what you want the 3sixty.1 is great, if your a tweaker the .2 is your next purchase

If you don't like the stock HU, you can always replace it. It's true! Even that GPS or Gas-Milage-Computer won't change anything... I would definately replace the whole system if I don't like it. But you need to find a real PRO, who can find every single wire, connected to the unit.

Rockford 3Sixty.2, Alpine PXE-H650, or Audiocontrol DQL 8 would be your best bet. The RF is probably the cheapest, but I really like what the Alpine offers. That will probably be the OEM integration unit I get for my Mazda

You officially have no idea what you're talking about. Replacing an HU that is that integrated into the rest of the vehicle will cause a lot of problems. Please stop giving advice.
