Anyone with try this design... results?

New car coming soon... and I finally have a back seat that folds down.

Typical set-ups I see are, subs & port back, or to the front sealed off.

But who has tryed subs facing up, ports facing in? How did it work?

If you're talking about a setup like this

Subs up & ports forward firing into the cabin then yse I've done it and its working great.

I still stick with subs back, port back. Unless you COMPLETELY seal it off from the trunk, and do subs/port forward.

If I did that... airspace would be insufficient. Hence the use of external aeroports.

i did it with a 15" L7 in a 3 cubed box with two 4 inch external pvcs like 20 inches or so i dont remember, but i really like it, its not sealed from the rest of the trunk and the pvc tubes stick allmost all the way up the front seats, beats the pants off of your trunk lid though, i got a couple layers of rammat, it helps alot, but my car rattles alot anyway, hope that helps

best option imo that ive seen is 4th order firing into rear deck. another one i like is subs foward sealed and ports vented through rear deck normally in speaker holes.
