Anyone with audiopipe ever use a bass boost at 80hz?

Just noticed that there amps have an adjustable bass boost from 30-80hz.

Was thinking it would be nice to put a couple db boost in at like 60-80hz??

I know some people do it with active crossovers but can this work. I'm kinda sketchy as the amps are some of the cheapest that you can get.

or is it just going to send a clipped signal?

Thoughts

you can use bass boost up to about 6db if you built a little smaller than recomended enclosure to help with the low frequencys. do not boost that high. bb will not make you louder...
