Anyone with a tahoe? help with what size speakers

I looked up in the manual and it said i had 6.5 or 6 3/4 to fit in the doors...Said i had to drill another hole though to fit them? anyone else have the same truck, and what speakers have they used to fit in there? appreciate the help. Thanks
