Anyone with a SL 500 and bass ??

I have a mercedes 91 sl500 and wanting to put a 10w7 in it, but not sure whether to put it behind front seats or in the trunk. I want the best in bass responce, I'd rather it be in the trunk, but not sure how the bass will transfer through the wall and into the cab area because the convert top folds back and into the area between the trunk space and the space behind the front seats....

cut a hole in the roof, mount it there. using the cabin as the airspace.

lower window for desired port tuning.

Nice....but if you noticed "Anyone with an sl500". Good suggestions though!
