anyone with 3 or 4 good 10's been metered?

thats what i did with my 2 12's i built a box that everyone said that they would do best in which was 5cb ft at 40hz an used 2 bx1500's an 2 12" sx's an hit an 148 on the new term lab but i burnt one amp an i want something louder than 150 im thinkin bout 4 10" sx's an 2 bx2200's would hit at least an 152 in an well built box i no its dam.n near impossible to tell untill its in the car an bein metered but what do yall think? btw the setup is going into an cut through of an reg cab toyota tacoma

high 140s are close to impossible with those 10's on a term sensor even with a hatchback. DBdrag experts would struggle to do numbers liek that if even possible. Definatly couldn't have been on a termlab especially in two seperate situations. I would highly doubt this could have been done on an audiocontrol either.

That 1.2db will not be audible, you definatly can do more by tweaking your current box and setup.

IMO i don't think it would be worth it to go to 4 10's, why not just 2 15's if you do anything. Also, are you looking to do such high numbers for competitions or just for the rush factor, if that is the case you might consider trying different tuning frequencies. Tuning lower you'll lose output at higher ranges, but 147@30hz is crazy compared to 152@50hz. If I were you I would defiantly consider the 15s over the 10's even if you only can run 5 cubes, people make box size out to be more than it is. In SPL competitions the top competitors often use aero ports and small boxes.

You are obviously very confused, this is almost impossible that two local guys are doing this, 2 10s doing 149db would take an expert and extremly well built subwoofers.
What exactly are these guys doing to acheive these phenominal numbers?
Um no, I have seen them both hit those numbers on the termlab on dash and yes with 2-10's. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif I have also seen 1-12" hit 148.?dbs //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif-jordy o. and of course in a hatchback. Ummm....Teds147...I did high 148's on the audiocontrol with 2 pioneer 10's and 2 planet amps strapped.

I have a new setup listed in my sig, and I am shooting for around the same #, it not a little higher. Stay Tuned //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Next tests will be on the termlab, and I know 145 will be hit.

All I am saying is that it is possible. It can be done. It has been done. And it will be done again.

WTF are you talking about?

My buddy does a 147 with ONE 12" type-s, in the trunk, but he has done a few enclosures to optimize this...

I do a 144.4 with one 10" on the TL.

And on a side note, 2 12" SX's should be capable of a 150 if you play your cards right, make a nice box, and have proper power.

Also, 5 cubes is WAY too small for 4 SX's

Theres a guy who has 4 dd 9512's in 4 cubes, does 157 on the tl

There are NSPL competetors who run 12" subs in a half a cube
