I keep trying to tell cj407 that it is about the passion, not the money. He just doesn't get it and always comes back with some lame excuse saying that he needs to get paid for his time. IMHO, if you aren't doing it for the sheer love of music, you have no business doing it!

I have had cj407 do quite a few songs for me. All turned out great, if they didn't I would have told him. As far as rates, the guy asked for a donation. If you cant pony up a dollar or two for a track, then you have bigger issues then a chopped and screwed song:laugh:

thanx annarbor....not everyone understands the art or time it takes to put together a proper mix.....not just using audacity to extend the time of the track...dont get me wrong i thought it was the shit back in the day when i started that way....but now i know the art and science to it....and i'm gettin better with each track.

I am no ones defender but your logic hurts my head. Jobs are quickly diminishing and you are still expecting free shit:laugh: As I stated earlier, if a buck or two is going to be an issue, than there is a bigger problem. I don't see Gorilla Zoe or Gucci, or Jeezy putting out free music, even though it is their passion.
