Anyone who downloads HD Movies off torrent sites

not that i do it, but id imagine that your ps3 and PC are on the same network

you should research TVersity

I hear that it is a great program for streaming Blu-Ray and other non HD material to your ps3

wired or not

in a setup that i have heard about the laptop is wireless and the PS3 is wired in, and it is flawless, from what i understand.

i want to be able to do HD movies and HD content, i can currently do regular movies and such np.

i just want to be able to burn HD content to a blu ray and then watch it on the ps3.

also anyone know if you can copy and blu-ray 1 for 1 like you can with dvd's?

Yes you can, but just like a DVD burner, you gotta buy/install a Blu-Ray burner for your computer, which is pricey.

My best advice, put HD movie files on a flash drive, and watch movies by plugging it into the PS3/Xbox360 etc.

99% of hd torrents are compressed .mkv(x264) files. you cant just burn them to a bluray disc and expect them to play in a standard player

some sites offer true ripped bluray image(iso) files, but they are 30-35gb each

instead of spending a few hundred on a bluray burner just build a media pc. i just built one for less than $150 with a core 2 duo, 2gb ram and a 160gb drive in a shuttle k45

Which would have problems decoding bluray images, shouldve spent more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif lol

i convert my bluray movies to .mkv on my main pc and store them on my server

the pc easily plays HD(720p and 1980p) content over the network using the onboard video

why spend more when it isnt needed

i dunno man, the compressed movies i have watched look amazing, especially animated ones

getting them off the net is hit or miss, thats why i buy them and encode them myself. i also like to watch the extras once in a while

ya i was just pointing out that most HD torrents cant just be burned and played on a ps3 or standalone player so he diddnt waste money buying one thinking that

and if they could no need for a bluray burner, just use a dvd burner and burn them as a file

i dont have a ps3 so idunno fersure though
