Anyone want to go out west on a hunting trip?

So check it out...one of my friends just got back from a Colorado hunting trip. He bagged a big bull elk and a brown bear so now i got the itch to go with him next year. I just got the fee schedule for '08 and DAAAMMm its expensive for non-resident tags. $500ish for a bull elk tag (7 day) and 250 for a bear tag. So next october we have a trip planned...un guided rocky mountain hunting trip. I'm taking my Remington 700 300 WinMag and a 454 casull 4" for that unexpected chance we run up on a bear. I hope to get a elk and a big brown bear.

Anyone else hunt big game here?

Only way I even get near a bear is if i have a big *** gun. Be ready for anything though! My bro goes hunting and to colorado and wyoming a few times a year and always has a blast.
