Anyone want to check my math?

I'm building a box for 2 13W1 for my Durango behind the third row seating. I want to make sure I have the cuts correct

Box is 33" wide x 13" deep x 16" High

Cutlist based on 5/8" MDF (3/4" would be better but I already had this sheet)

2 pcs 33" x 16" front and back of box

2 pcs 33" x 13" top and bottom

2 pcs 14 3/4" x 13" sides

How so

you have to subtract an 1 1/4 from the front and back height wise to get 16 height otherwise you're looking at 17 1/4.

also 14 3/4 x 11 3/4 = 16 x 13 after top, bottom, front, & back are added

With the dimensions I had top and bottom pieces and the sides should make a 33" x 16" box. And then you'd put the front and back on and cut the holes.

I gotcha. I figured it with the front and back being the last pieces

so, your cutout sheet should look like this:

(2) 33 x 13 (top & bottom)

(2) 33 x14.75 (front & back)

(2) 14.75 x 11.75 (l & r sides)
