neither, the audioque hdc318 requires a flux cap diode instead of an amplifier because this sub actually produces its own power.

I did a hdc318 for a buddy on 1600w, its loud as ****, he said as soon as he gets money he is upgrading to the 2200 so you might just want to go ahead and get one

you could get two ap15001d's for around $320 thats a lot of power.
