I'm looking into a new sub to replace my single tc-10oem sealed. the other one started making weird sound.. and one tc can't keep up with the b&w... even when I had two it wasn't keeping up too well...
so now im looking for a high excursion sub, 15" or 18", and the rl-s is the only one that i can think of.
I have 2krms of power, and 12.2cu.ft gross, I could fit a 15"rl-s in 9.98cu.ft NET sealed and thats with 1" all around and 2"baffle, not including brace, i'd assume .3cu.ft of bracing so somewhere around 9.5 NEt.
I'm basically looking for same or better SQ as the tc-10oem, deep, tight, but i just want it louder and able to keep up with the b&w. I really wanna feel the deep bass shaking me in the movies.
I did search, but it seems that this sub is very unpopular, and I think it's because it needs a big enclosure so nobody really bothered on buying one... But i'm really curious on how it perform in it's optimal sealed enclosure with good amount of power.
any thought, help, suggestion is appreciated.
